ReSource Commercial Flooring Network
Becomes The Fuse Alliance

Membership and participation in trade groups and associations play an important role in the life of a vibrant company and the commercial flooring business is no exception. In early January of 2012, Pavilion president, Jamie Gilmore, announced that the company was becoming a member owner of the ReSource Commercial Flooring Network. This news was well-received by both the management and staff. But in late March, the ReSource Commercial Flooring Network announced during its annual member owner conference, Network Exchange, a change of the organization’s name to Fuse Alliance.

Fuse by definition means many things relating to the organization and its values.
• Combine: to unite or blend things, or become united or blended into a whole
• For igniting an explosive (or business)
• A connection or fuse between Members, Preferred Suppliers, customers and the industry ensuring constant power in the relationships.

Fuse Alliance’s tagline “igniting business” embodies the organization’s goal to grow the business of its members and the business of the group’s preferred suppliers with its members. Fuse Alliance’s executive director, Ron Lee stated, “We are not the same organization that we used to be and it's time to match our identity to our actions.”

Fuse Alliance (Fuse) is a member owned network of professional commercial flooring contractors located throughout the United States. The organization’s goal is to increase the flooring contractor’s value in the supply chain, and ensure that these values are continually enhanced to support its customers and suppliers. The basic business principle is to provide its member owners programs, services and additional income unavailable as a standalone independent company. Example programs and services include marketing, advertising, cost management, recruiting and training. Fuse has Member Owners in all major, most secondary and some tertiary markets throughout the U.S.

Pavilion Expands to the Worcester Area
When many companies are pulling back their operations, Pavilion Floors of Woburn is pleased to announce its recent expansion into the Worcester market. Worcester has been very successful in redefining its identity and reforging its urban façade into a dynamically growing region supported by millions of development dollars and, with this backdrop, Pavilion realized the need that existed for its full range of contract flooring services and products.

Company president, Jamie Gilmore, created a physical presence by joining forces with Creative Office Pavilion, a long-time strategic partner with an office in Worcester in order to provide the same legendary service enjoyed by Pavilion's Boston and Providence clients. Creative Office Pavilion and Pavilion Floors are both conveniently located on East Worcester Street close to downtown.
